Stage 4 breast cancers can't be cured but the proper treatments can extend and improve the quality of the life of the patient.
Triple-negative breast cancers that account for about 10-20% of the breast cancers are the most aggressive spreading type of breast cancer with a worse prognosis. These type of breast cancers tests negative for estrogen receptors(ER), progestrone receptors(PR), and HER 2 protein and hence can't be treated with hormone therapy. Prognosis will also depend on the stage at which your cancer is detected. Earlier the detection, easier is the cure.
