Aster CMI has a multi-disciplinary team of oncologists to treat cancer. This type of treatment approach with multiple specialists is considered a global best practice in cancer treatment.

While Aster CMI has almost all required specialists, there is no dedicated breast surgeon / women's cancer surgeon. Site-specific surgeons are offered by some hospitals who maintain a dedicated focus on few specific cancers, often treating a large volume of the same type of cancers. Palliative care specialists are specialized doctors who work with patient during treatment and recovery to provide relief from symptoms such as pain.
